These companies charge us (Loyalty Suite) to use their API's. Every time a business owner who is using Loyalty Suite sends an email, a text or has content created automatically by Mailgun, Twilio or OPEN A.I, our company is charged for the usage of their systems.
These charges are then forwarded on to the business owner and are paid for using a "Wallet" and "Credits" system from inside your Loyalty Suite account (Settings>Company Billing).
Credits are purchased automatically and billed accordingly to the business owner each time there is a record of usage through any one of our 3rd party software integrations.
It's important that your workflows and automations and any associated emails continue to send and run seamlessly in the background once your loyalty rewards program has been setup to keep your new loyalty members engaged and informed.
There are at times, automated emails that are sent from your account that you may not be aware of. This is completely normal and all part of a system that has been purpose built and designed around loyalty rewards and online ordering. Updates, welcome emails, points and loyalty notifications - All being sent to your customers via email all with the help of our integration with Mailgun.
To ensure your account never stops sending these automated emails, your wallet is automatically topped up with $25usd in credits, every time it drops below $10 in credit. This will happen within the first few days of your account going live as your first few emails are sent to new members.
By default, every new ENGAGE Loyalty Suite account is credited with one time amount of $10. This would give you about 10,000 emails or 850 texts or 120 Review Responses. You will only be rebilled for your usage once that credit has run out. The same applies to all new EXPOSURE and ELITE Plans, however, these plans include UNLIMITED text messaging.
Loyalty Suite is designed to grow with your business. If you're just starting out and you join on a FREEMIUM PLAN, you won't pay a monthly subscription, and you'll only be billed for minimal email/sms usage for the small number of automated emails that are being sent out to new members.
